HURRICANE GRILL & WINGS
Rozell Industries was engaged by Six Flags Great Escape Lodge to construct their new restaurant, Hurricane Grill and Wings. This project had a tight timeline, allowing just three months for completion. Located within the existing hotel, the work involved demolishing the old banquet facilities and adjacent areas. Our scope included a full buildout of a new 9,200 square foot restaurant, all while the hotel and water park remained operational.
To minimize disruptions, Rozell collaborated closely with SFTP, ensuring seamless operations for the hotel and water park during construction. Given the tight schedule, maintaining open communication among the owner, builder, and designers was essential to meet the project deadlines.
Rozell also prioritized local resources, hiring and sourcing talent from the area to support the project.
Key features of the restaurant include:
- A private 900 square foot dining/meeting room for gatherings and private dining experiences.
- Four flip-out windows that open the bar to outdoor seating, enhancing the guest experience.
- Actual surfboards from California as unique wall decor.
- Two large exterior pergolas on the patio, with all lumber sourced locally.
Rozell Industries undertook much of the labor in-house, supplemented by local subcontractors and suppliers.
